Meet Barry Costa
BARRY COSTA, combines a genuine “loveof teaching” with a vast amount
of experience and technical expertise. Barry’s installation
background started in 1966 and his cleaning and restoration background
began in 1971. A graduate of Springfield College and a veteran school
teacher of ten years, Barry brings this experience to his unique
hands-on teaching style. This gives Barry the perspective of an
instructor/technician who can understand the daily challenges we all
encounter. Barry’s industry credentials include: FITC Certified Carpet
Installation Instructor; CFI Master Installer; IICRC Certified
Carpet Inspector, Master Cleaner & Restorer. He is a contributing
author of IICRC’s S-500 Water Damage Standard
Reference Guide;
and is a consultant to major fiber producers, carpet manufacturers,
and adjustment firms. |

Meet Joe Dobbins
JOE DOBBINS teaches with a background of many years in the cleaning
and catastrophic restoration business. His own successful cleaning
and restoration company provides a backdrop to his innovative
solutions. He is a distributor with Steam Way® International in the
Southeast working with cleaning companies on a daily basis. Joe’s
IICRC credentials consist of: Certification in every IICRC category
of: IICRC Certified Senior Carpet Inspector; a Certified Master
Cleaner; an IICRC Certified Master Restorer; and is a Regional
Supervisor for the IICRC that may administer exams to qualified
students. His ongoing experiences in areas of professional cleaning,
restoration, inspection, and consultation allow him to relate both
practical as well as educational help to individual cleaners and
business owners. Joe's unique "southern" style of teaching makes him a
favorite worldwide. |

Meet Dan Bernazzani
DAN BERNAZZANI, CR brings first hand experience to fire restoration.
Dan’s restoration company has dealt with disasters since 1985 and
Dan’s first fire cleanup goes back to 1974. Dan shares his experience
with you in the
classroom. Experience you can’t gain anywhere else! As owner of his
own disaster business, Liberty Fire and Flood Restoration, Dan has
experience as a technician, a restorer and a consultant to mills,
fiber producers, property managers, insurance companies and insurance
adjustment firms. Dan’s credentials include IICRC Certified Senior
Carpet Inspector, IICRC Master Cleaning Technician; IICRC Master
Restoration Technician and ASCR’s credentials of Certified Restorer.
Dan is past President of The New England Institute of Restoration and
Cleaning, and presently serves on the Board of Directors of the IICRC.
Dan brings a fresh “In- The-Field” perspective to teaching. |

Meet Joey Pickett
JOEY PICKETT is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and
Restoration
Certification as a Certified Master Cleaner. He is also the owner of a
Certified firm. Having come up through the ranks. Joey has the ability
to identify the problems common to every day service and provide
solutions in a simple easy to understand manner. Joey has a worked in
the product testing and development field as well as a trouble
shooter. If he doesn’t have the answer he will work with you to find
it. Joey’s classes are fun as well as educational. You will leave
feeling like you’ve made a wise investment in your company’s future.
Joey Pickett is a regional supervisor of IICRC and may administer

Meet Jim Smith
James (Jim) B. Smith is
a highly enthusiastic quarter century veteran of the cleaning industry who
brings the experience of hundreds of cases as a practicing IICRC Senior
Inspector to every class he teaches.
Jim also contributes to the industry by writing articles for Cleanfax
Magazine on a regular basis, inspiring thousands with his unique
perspective and problem solving techniques.
His educational background also includes studies from Texas
A&M University and the University of Houston. |

Meet Dane Gregory
Dane
Gregory has a vast and expansive industry background. Most recently,
he chaired the Stone, Masonry, and Tile Cleaning (SMT) Committee with
the IICRC. He is the past president of the IICRC. He owned a
successful cleaning and restoration business in Stevens Point for many
years, which he sold a couple of years back to focus full time on
consulting. He has served as a teacher and consultant to insurance
companies, carpet mills, cleaning and restoration equipment and
chemical manufacturers, and many others. Dane also has served as a
manufacturer’s representative for a major supplier of specialty stone
care products.
Dane is an approved
instructor for IICRC Classes in the areas of Carpet Cleaning,
Upholstery Cleaning, Commercial Carpet Cleaning, and Hard Surface
Floor Cleaning (FCT). He will also be teaching Fast Track Technical
and Business Growth Classes. Dane is developing the Bridgepoint School
for the new IICRC approved category of Stone, Masonry, and Tile
Cleaning Technician (SMT).

Meet Doug Bowles
Doug started his career cleaning carpet in the late 70’s near Aspen,
Colorado. Since then, Doug has served the industry as an international
consultant to carpet mills, fiber producers and individual cleaning
companies. Doug has been teaching IICRC certified courses for over 20
years. His love for the industry can’t help but rub off during his
classes.
Whether you are new in the business or a seasoned pro, Doug’s
presentation is sure to bring lasting benefits to you and
your company. Doug’s sense of humor coupled with his knowledge of the

Meet Shawn Bisaillon
SHAWN BISAILLON is the newest member to our Steam Way® Education team.
Shawn is an IICRC
Certified Master Cleaner and Restorer and is an Oriental Rug Cleaning
Specialist. He has worked with and around almost every type of carpet,
rug, and upholstery fabric you can imagine and will be able to give
you the insight and confidence you need to handle the cleaning. He
works for Steam Way® International, Inc. in Denver, CO, as the
National Sales Manager and Technical Cleaning Advisor. After years of
working in the field, he is now sharing his knowledge as a part of the
Steam Way® education team. He brings his excitement for the industry
together with his technical and practical background of cleaning to
motivate
and excite you about the cleaning job. |

Steam Way®
School Policies & Information
1. All classes are subject to adequate pre-registration.
2. No smoking is allowed during class time. Breaks will be taken.
3. Audio tape recorders are welcome. No video tape recorders, please.
4. Schedules are set by the Steam Way® Distributor representing each
area and are based upon interest demonstrated by cleaners and
restorers in those areas. If you are
interested in a particular school, notify your local Steam Way®
Distributor. Prices are
determined by the sponsoring distributor.
5. Unless noted in the description, course manuals and educational
books for sale are
different, but complimentary.
6. All policies concerning IICRC rules and regulations are set by the
IICRC.
7. Steam Way® schools for IICRC Certification are taught within the
generic covenants set by the IICRC. All schools are taught to be
useful to the student regardless of the product line they are using.
All attendees receive a certificate of completion.
8. Steam Way® reserves the right to substitute instructors in the case
of an emergency. Some classes may include guest instructors.
9. Not all schools sponsored by Steam Way® Distributors are Steam Way®
International Schools. Please contact the sponsoring distributor for
more information.
10. All Steam Way® Educational activities come with a money back
guarantee: If you do not feel the information received was worth your
registration fees, inform your sponsor by lunch time of the first day,
and your fees will be refunded.
